We are seeking a dedicated Senior Project Officer to join the Ilinniarniq Advanced Education Department and who is committed to supporting post-secondary education through delivery of assistance programs, collaboration, and strategic initiatives.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Individuals with a college diploma in Human Resource Development, Adult Education, or a related field, or those with equivalent experience (3 years) in program delivery or career services.
- Candidates with a practical understanding of the challenges facing Qikiqtani Inuit in acquiring post-secondary education and the ability to work and communicate effectively with them.
- Proficiency in computer word-processing and spreadsheet software, with strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with the Qikiqtani labour force, education institutions, and post- secondary education processes.
- Ability to work independently, with excellent organizational and presentation skills.

- Salary range is $94,563 – $118,204 plus Northern Allowance of $27,600.
- Compensation and benefits include a salary based on experience, vacation travel allowance, health and dental insurance, and a pension plan.
- Staff housing is not provided for any position.
- Preference will be given to Inuit applicants.
